This bicycle tour leads you from the lovely Starnberger Lake through the largest moorlands in middle Europe, continuing on to King Ludwig’s fairy tale palaces- not to forget a breath-taking view of the Alps – before you complete your cycling tour at Lake Constance.

Individual arrival to Munich.
2. Day:
Munich - Lake Starnberg
(approx. 58 km)
Your first cycling stage brings you to Ammersee (Lake Ammer). Passing by the Andechs monastery you will reach Lake Starnberg. If you want, you can cycle directly to Lake Starnberg (approx. 35 km).
3. Day:
Lake Starnberg - Staffelsee
(approx. 45 km)
You cycle along the eastern side of the Starnberger Lake until you reach Seeshaupt. There is a lovely bathing place just before here, where you can cool yourself down when the weather is hot. With full vigor we go to lake Staffelsee.
4. Day:
Staffelsee - Schwangau/Füssen
(approx. 60 km)
In the morning you travel to the largest moorland in middle Europe. You ride past the mud spa in Bad Kohlgrub before allowing yourself to be enchanted by King Ludwig’s fairy-tale palaces.
5. Day:
Schwangau/Füssen - Nesselwang
(approx. 35 km)
The view of the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau palaces accompany you for a while on the way to Hopfen am See. Treat yourself to a break on one of the many lakes on the way to Nesselwang.
6. Day:
Nesselwang - Oberstaufen
(approx. 54 km)
Today’s route begins slightly hillier. The beautiful alpine panorama makes up for the strain. Highlight of the day is the ride along the Großen Alpsee Lake to Oberstaufen.
7. Day:
Oberstaufen - Lake Constance
(approx. 54 km)
Enjoy the juicy green landscape of the Allgäu before you enjoy the view over the lake on the shore of Lake Constance. Accommodation in Lindau or Lochau.
8. Day:
Lake Constance - departure
Individual departure or extension.

You cycle on well-signed mostly paved long distance cycle paths as well as on quiet side streets. Some longer sections are also ridden on gravel roads in good condition. A few short ascents can easily be managed by pushing one’s bike.
