1. Day: Arrival in Warsaw or Krutyn
Independent arrival in Warsaw (transfer from the airport or main train station available for a surcharge) and transfer at 12:00 from the hotel near the train station to Puszcza Piska (surcharge for transfer). Here you start your first bike tour to Krutyn (about 15km). Alternatively you drive directly to Krutyn by car.
2. Day: Puszcza Piska roundtrip and Wojnowo, approx. 45 km
You cycle through the Puszcza Piska to Wojnowo where you can visit the orthodox church and the convent beside Lake Drusen. Via Galkowen and the Salon of Marion Gräfin Dönhoff you return to Krutyn.
3. Day: Krutyn - Nikolaiken/Surroundings, approx. 40 km
In the morning you have the opportunity to go on a kayak trip on Kruttina River (not included in tour price). In the afternoon you cycle through the Masurian Landscape Park to a breeding station where beavers and tarpans are kept. A ferry (not included in tour price) takes you to Nikolaiken/Surroundings and your hotel beside the lake.
4. Day: Round trip Jezioro Luknajno, approx. 45 km
You pass lakes, canals and villages on your way to Jezioro uknajno, an UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and swan habitat. You return to “Masurian Venice” and can relax for the rest of the day in one of the harbour cafes.
5. Day: Nikolaiken/Surroundings - Ketrzyn/Surroundings, approx. 50 km
Via Rhein and Eichmedien you reach Ketrzyn with its lovely old church. A visit to the park in Eichmedien or the Masurian Museum in Zondern is recommended.
6. Day: Round trip Jezioro Luknajno, approx. 45 km
After breakfast you visit the old Hitler bunker “Wolf’s Lair” (surcharge). Passing the large Masurian lakes you make your way to Sztynort. Visit the grand castle Lehndorf. Later you can take a boat to Cormorant Island and Gizycko, a treasure of Masuria (not included in tour price). You spend another night in Ketrzyn/Surroundings.
7. Day: Ketrzyn/Surroundings - Sensburg, approx. 45 km
Guided tour of Ketrzyn (surcharge). You cycle to Rössl Castle and the baroque pilgrimage church in Swieta Lipka. You spend the night in Mragowo directly beside the lake.
8. Day: Independent return journey or continued stay
Transfer (surcharge) from Mragowo to Warsaw airport or train station (arrival approx. at 11.30) and independent return journey. Alternative transfer to Krutyn and independent return journey from there.
Transfers must be booked in advance. Packed lunch, all tours, boat rides (ferries excluded) and activities can be booked on site.
