Tour around Klink
The Mecklenburg Lakes District is one of the largest connected lake areas in central Europe. Explore this fascinating country, cool off in inviting wayside lakes, visit peaceful nature reserves and lovely towns with interesting architecture! The highlight of the trip are the nights in lovingly renovated mansions, farm estates and castle hotels, the former cultural centres of the region.

1. Day: Klink
Independent arrival in Klink, which is situated of the shores of Lake Müritz. You have the opportunity of going for an idyllic boat ride on the lake. You spend the night in the historical castlehotel, which allows for romantic reminiscence of days long past.
2. Day: Klink - Sparow, approx. 27/50 km
Your first bike tour takes you along the western shore of Lake Müritz to Röbel, a picturesque city with a beautiful harbour promenade and a well preserved historical town centre. The view over the Müritz from the church tower is spectacular. Your next stop is at Lake Malchower and Malchow town. The organ museum in the convent is worth a visit. To abbreviate the tour about 27 km, you cycle directly on Kölpinsee and Fleesensee along sparow. You spend the night in Sparow.
3. Day: Sparow - Schorssow, approx. 45 km
Through quiet, extensive forests you cycle to the nature reserve of Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide. On the way you can visit the Domäne Neu Gaarz estate or the romantic renaissance castle Ulrichshausen. Through the hilly end moraine of Swiss Mecklenburg you reach the castle like hotel near Schorssow in the Lake Malchiner valley.
4. Day: Schorssow - Teschow, approx. 45 km
You start your day cycling north through the landscape park of Castle Schlitz and continue onwards to Teterow. Visit the hill fort island and the medieval town centre. You spend the night in the idyllic castle Teschow near Lake Teterower.
5. Day: Teschow - Groß Plasten, approx. 55 km
You cross a ridge of Swiss Mecklenburg and pass the nature reserve of the same name. Then you bike to the south through villages with old farm estates until you reach today’s highlight, Castle Basedow. From your next stop, the Liepen Watercastle, it is not far to Groß Plasten, your next accommodation.
6. Day: Groß Plasten - Klink, approx. 40 km
You start your last tour cycling along the eastern shore of the Müritz, through the Müritz national park, which is home to many endangered plants and animals. In Federow you can learn about the osprey at the national park information. You continue to Waren with its historical town centre and lovely lake promenade. Enjoy the town’s atmosphere in one of the harbour cafes, before cycling back to Klink.
