Independent arrival in Warsaw or Masuria
A.) By car to Warsaw or Masuria: Guarded parking costs about 25€ per week and car in Masuria and about 50 € at the airport in Warsaw. (No prior reservation possible or necessary, payment on location). Transfer to Masuria from Warsaw airport (terminal 1) by bus around 2.40 pm (included in price of tour).
B.) By plane to Warsaw: Transfer to Masuria by bus from terminal 1 at Warsaw airport (Frederic Chopin Airport) around 2.40 pm (included in price of tour).
C.) by train to Warsaw, via Berlin: Transfer to Masuria by bus from main station “Warsaw Centralna” around 3:20 pm (included in price of tour). Arrival in Piaski around 7:00 pm, boarding of MS CLASSIC LADY.

After your tour to Niedersee and Johannisburg (Pisz) you return to the MS CLASSIC LADY, which awaits you in Karwik. You reach Nikolaiken after about 2 hours on board.

In the morning the boat takes you to Rhein (Ryn). From here you bike to the Wolf’s Lair where you can see the remnants of Hitler’s military headquarters on the Eastern Front during Word War 2. A side trip (adds about 17 km) to Rastenburg (Ketrzyn) with its castle and fortified church is recommended. Finally, you bike past meadows, fields and lonely hamlets to Wilkassen, where the MS CLASSIC LADY is waiting.

You start the day with a bike tour from Wilkassen to Lötzen (Gizycko), where you can visit Fort Boyen and the “Schinkel – Church”. From here you continue to Lake Goldapgar and return to Wilkassen and the MS CLASSIC LADY via Possessern.

In the morning the boat takes you to Szymonka via the “5 Lakes Route”. The first part of the bike tour goes to Rhein and its 14th century castle. You then continue to Zondern and along the Lake Talty where you have an amazing view across the Lakes District. Finally you return to the MS CLASSIC LADY in Nikolaiken.

Today you can take an extra trip to the swan habitat on Lake Lucknaier (adds about 10 km). Otherwise you have time for a stroll through Nikolaiken before taking the ferry to Spirding (Wierzba), where you visit the biology station Popiellnen (breeding station for the primeval Tarpan). Afterwards you cycle trough Weissuhnen, where you can visit the beautiful church and trough Ruciane Nida back to Piaski. (Alternative you take the MS CLASSIC LADY to Piaski and cycle to Weissuhnen before returning to Piaski)

Today you cycle to Kruttinen via Eckertsdorf (Wojnow) with its Russian Orthodox Old Believer convent. In Kruttinen a short boat trip on the River Kruttina is recommended! You rejoin the MS CLASSIC LADY in Piaski.

Transfer to Warsaw (included in price of tour) and independent return journey or continued stay in Warsaw or the Masurian Lakes District (ask your program and rates).

Depending on water levels in the canals, for example during extended periods of dry weather, the route can be subject to change. The characteristics of the trip nonetheless stay the same. We may change the route on short notice depending on weather and conditions on site.
