This trip through northern Holland offers lots of different features: typical “Polder” areas, dunes, the beaches of the North Sea, Texel Island and picturesque harbour towns on the Ijsselmeer coast. You cross an extraordinary landscape of lakes and swamps, which was drained with windmills in the 17th century.
