For 30 years velotours Touristik has been your competent tour operator for bike trips in Germany and all over Europe. Our principles are quality, innovation and creativity. Let us tell you, how it all began:

We started out as a small company in Constance and offered bike tours around Lake Constance. This new form of travelling sparked soon a lot of interest and we kept augmenting our list of tours.

Eventually we expanded even more and began to found branch offices. Like this we became The expert for bike tours not only around Lake Constance but also in many other areas, like the Mosel and Main River regions and around the Romantic Road. We also increased our stock of rental bikes and busses and were able to hire more employees.

In 2001 the Austrian Company Austria Radreisen took over velotours Touristik. Velotours Touristik is still run as an independent company with headquarters in Constance. All internal processes, such as booking and customer service are handled and organised in since the takeover Schärding. Joining Austria Radreisen and velotours Touristik meant the formation of a bike tours allegiance with double the know-how and experience of either company alone. Together we promote cycling regions and develop new tours in interesting locations. Our destination towns profit through more overnight stays and our clients benefit from new ideas and experienced input. 

Since the company came into existence we have been increasing and renewing our stock of rental bikes. Today we can offer high quality rental bikes on all our tours. We are also one of the first companies that offer electric bikes with a small motor. These “motorized” bikes have been helping our clients on many tours for years.
